What makes Aether Beauty different?

Creator Tiila Abbitt sought out to create a clean beauty collection that performed as well, if not better, than conventional classics but, she didn’t stop there. She took it a step further by ensuring none of her products were ever animal tested, sustainably sourced, zero waste AND free from harmful chemicals.

Did you know that in the US, only about a dozen chemicals have been banned from being used in cosmetics whereas in the European Union, over 1300 are outlawed? That’s right. Cosmetic companies can fill their products with potentially harmful chemicals with little to no oversight. That’s why Tiila Abbitt decided to formulate her own products by substituting with cleaner alternatives.

Tiila spent 7 years working for Sephora in charge of product development for makeup collaborations and accessories. Her experience with the global brand provided her the knowledge to create professional quality products in a wide shade range coveted by women of all skin tones. She added variety to an industry that was lacking shade range and sustainability.

All Āether Beauty Eyeshadow Palettes are made of 100% recyclable, FSC-Certified paper. FSC-certified means: the paper is sourced from wood suppliers who “prevent pollution, protect habitat, plant more trees than are harvested, and avoid displacing native peoples, and harming wildlife.” She really thought about the entire product from start to finish. Oh, and did we mention the palettes are gorgeous?

I personally use the Rose Quartz Crystal Gemstone Palette regularly and can confirm that the color lasts all day! Formulated with organic coconut oil and organic shea butter, these shadows have a super smooth buttery texture for one swipe application. They’re infused with organic rose hip oil which provides radiant looking, glowing skin and Rose Quartz powder helps to reduce the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles and redness while illuminating the skin with its light-reflective crystals.

Stop by Shimmer Tuesday through Sunday to find your new favorite palette!
