We’re Expanding!

If you’ve been following along on Instagram, you may have seen a few hints lately. Now I can finally share what’s happening!

Shimmer is expanding.

But not across town or to a second location. We’re simply moving next door into the larger space that shares our entryway. The shop and our community space are switching places, which means Shimmer will now have a much bigger home.

This change allows us to do something I’ve wanted to do for a long time. We’ll have room for a few new brands and a dedicated makeup room for makeup lessons and a couple fun collaborations in the works!

If you’ve visited the website recently and noticed there wasn’t availability for makeup services, don’t worry! They’ll be returning very soon once the new space is ready.

The current shop will become our community space, which will give us even more opportunities to host events, workshops, and special experiences.

The doors officially open to the new space on March 14th. Shimmer is currently open regular hours and will be closed March 12th and 13th for the switch.

Everything that makes Shimmer what it is will stay the same. This is a place where we help make shopping for beauty and personal care feel calm, and never overwhelming, with thoughtful products and personal recommendations.

This next chapter is only possible because of the people who have supported Shimmer along the way. I’m so grateful you’re here and I can’t wait to welcome you into the new space!
